I heard through the grapevine that _Prince of Persia_ was based on an 80s video game and it made me cringe... then I when I saw Gyllenhaal was the lead, I cringed again. Pretty boy. (Too pretty boy to be the action hero lead, in my mind, which may be unjust, but if I'm constantly jarred from the story because of it, how'm I supposed to be submersed? Hell, I was finding the casting odd just watching the trailers!) Anyhow, thanks for the review, as now I have a decent excuse (other than "Gyllenhaal's hair looks tacked on") to suggest to the husband that we pass... or at least wait to rent. Cheers!
