I heard through the grapevine that _Prince of Persia_ was based on an 80s video game and it made me cringe... then I when I saw Gyllenhaal was the lead, I cringed again. Pretty boy.  (Too pretty boy to be the action hero lead, in my mind, which may be unjust, but if I&#039;m constantly jarred from the story because of it, how&#039;m I supposed to be submersed?  Hell, I was finding the casting odd just watching the trailers!)

Anyhow, thanks for the review, as now I have a decent excuse (other than &quot;Gyllenhaal&#039;s hair looks tacked on&quot;) to suggest to the husband that we pass... or at least wait to rent.  Cheers!</description>
